A QUICK STEP COULD OPEN THE DOOR TO ADDITIONAL SUPPORT
If you or a dependent are facing significant medical expenses, take a few minutes to apply by October 4.
Missouri State University wants employees and their families to know about resources that may make a meaningful difference when life gets difficult.
The Samaritan Fund Program is one of those resources.
If you or a dependent are dealing with a severe medical condition, ongoing medical needs or high-cost prescriptions, the program may be able to provide financial assistance for eligible medical expenses.
There’s no cost to apply. The process is quick and easy.
You can start by completing the confidential HIPAA authorization form. This simply allows the Samaritan Fund Program team to contact you and determine whether you may be a candidate for the program.
Applying does not commit you to participating or require you to change your current University health coverage.
If the program is successful in sourcing funds for your situation, you will receive a letter explaining the offer. You can then decide whether you want to accept and participate.
Why We Want You to Know About It
Missouri State University provides a comprehensive benefits program and a variety of resources to support employees and their families.
Sometimes, however, a family may need more.
We don’t want someone who could benefit from the Samaritan Fund Program to miss the opportunity simply because they didn’t know it was available.
There is no way to know whether the program may be able to help unless you take that first step.
It only takes a few minutes to find out.
Apply by October 4, 2026.
