Job Title and Description: As the Web and Digital Marketing Specialist, the incumbent must be proficient in current software such as, but not limited to Google Analytics, Ads, Data Studio, Adobe Creative Suite, WIX website design and management, JotForm, Trello and Microsoft Office. Incumbent must be able to multi-task—handle multiple projects and deadlines—and work independently. Responsibilities will be as varied, and the incumbent must be innovative and well versed in industry trends as they apply to the Y graphics standards. In addition, the incumbent must, meet the department needs, the policies of the Y and understand and communicate the mission of the YMCA in all marketing collateral. Contribute innovative ideas to improve interactions with members and the community both within and outside of the Y’s facilities. He/she will also exemplify the character values of caring, honesty, respect, and responsibility in the performance of all job duties.part of a team of highly motivated professionals with a range of international business expertise, you assist staff in providing high-value consultation and guidance to companies making strategic international business decisions.
Required Qualifications:
- Required Education: Bachelor’s Degree in related field.
- Required Experience: Website / social media experience: 1 year.
- Must be comfortable with, and ideally enjoy, web editing, email marketing and social media process, including bringing a strong creative sensibility to the table and a passion for the Y.
- Graphics creation – Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office, Trello, and Lucid Press
- Active Google Analytics and/or Ads certification
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Typical intern duties include conducting foreign market research or industry research, interacting with client companies, supporting trade events, and other administrative duties as required. Placing, optimizing and measuring digital advertising campaigns on Google Ads and social media networks
- Maintain the Y brand by developing, implementing, and maintaining consistent, accurate and professional digital marketing campaigns, by maintaining the integrity and image of the Y logo by adhering to the graphic standards set forth by YMCA of the USA.
- Maintain social marketing efforts for association on established and emerging platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, snapchat, twitter, etc.
- Update and maintain Y association App.
- Update and maintain association websites including orymca.org, campwakonda.org and staff resource site.
- Craft and send email marketing messages to members and program participants.
- Maintain and update website with accurate information about membership, promotions and programs. Experience with content management systems such as WIX is a plus. Create and update Association Jot Forms as needed.
- Create and upload newsletters, press releases and annual reports to Website and support branch events.
- Tracking of social media campaigns, analytics, e-commerce and ad performance for website & social media
- Understand and support yearly Marketing budget with accuracy and responsibility and meet & exceed all deadlines.
- Travel to association family centers, SAS Sites, and resident YMCA Camp Wakonda and others as assigned.

Compensation: Wage range $15 – $17 per hour
