This morning, we ate a quick breakfast and left the hotel at 6:15 to drive to a nearby city to catch our 10 o'clock flight to Nha Trang. On the seventh day we had a great historical visit to the king's tombs. We visited the second to last emperor (Khai Dinh) of the Nguyen dynasty as well as the fourth emperor (Tu Duc). We had an early flight to Hue today. When we arrived, our tour guide picked us up and checked into our hotel. After we checked in, we were taken to a yummy lunch. Today is our final day in Hue. We spent the day touring the tombs of two emperors: Khai Dinh and Tu Duc. Khai Dinh was highly influenced by the French. On the sixth day we got on the domestic airplane and flew to Hue. The plane ride was a short 1 hour or so. Hue reminds me of Springfield; the life is slower than the city life of Saigon. When we came into the airport, we went to check into Century Hotel first then walked a short 5 minutes to a place for lunch.
