Acclaimed actress, model and advocate Brooke Shields will visit Missouri State University this fall.
She will be the 2024 Public Affairs Conference keynote speaker. The conversation will take place at 7 p.m. Sept. 24 at Juanita K. Hammons Hall for the Performing Arts.
The keynote event kicks off the conference, scheduled Sept. 24-26. The theme is “Between the One and the Many: Considering Community and Individualism.”
Brent Dunn, Missouri State University Foundation executive director, said Shields will discuss navigating fame and overcoming personal challenges.
“Through her powerful message, Brooke encourages audiences to celebrate their own unique paths and to find the courage to pursue their dreams at any age. As a true icon and trailblazer, she proves that with determination and a positive outlook, anything is possible,” Dunn added.
Shield’s keynote is free and open to the public. Tickets are not required. The event is made possible by the Missouri State Foundation with support from KY3.

The foundation will host a VIP reception with Shields at 5 p.m. before her talk.

- Receive an autographed copy of “There Was a Little Girl: The Real Story of my Mother and Me.”

- Get special reserved seating at the keynote.
