If you’ve visited the Missouri State homepage recently, you may have noticed a small but significant change. The website’s masthead has been updated to make it more practical for mobile devices. The update involves two changes: the BearPass link and the alphabetical search feature.
Take note that the BearPass link is now in the masthead at the top of the page. Selecting this link will bring up a menu from which university members can access My Missouri State, email, or Blackboard. On October 6, the BearPass login tab lower on the page will be completely removed. At that point, everyone will need to use the new masthead link. This design will make the login process much more fluid on mobile devices.
The alphabetical search feature has also been modified. Previously, the masthead contained a link for each letter, and an extremely precise touch was required to follow the correct link on a mobile device. Now, simply selecting A-Z brings up a mobile-friendly menu with adequate space between the links.
Web browsing is moving more and more toward mobile devices, and we want our website to reflect this trend. Read more about the new touch-friendly updates, read the Web and New Media Blog.
