The hum of hundreds of bat scientists in one place is hard to describe. Recognized for impactful research

Missouri State team finishes first in Global Quantum Challenge

A Missouri State University team claimed first place in the prestigious 2025 Electric Power Outreach Institute (EPRI) Fusion Quantum Challenge. The team comprised Dr. Ridwan Sakidja, professor of physics, astronomy and materials science, and Gaige Riggs, a Master of Science in Materials Science graduate. They took home the first-place prize. Engineering purpose into every lesson

This spring, the Board of Governors at Missouri State University honored six employees for their exemplary commitment to the university’s public affairs mission. For winning the 2024 Governor’s Award for Excellence in Teaching, Missouri State University assistant professor Dr. Natasha DeVore got to join Gov.
