SPRINGFIELD, MO – Nancy Allen, an Ozarks native who has served on faculty in the College of Business at Missouri State University since 2006 and practiced law in Missouri for 15 years, is enjoying a new professional chapter: as an author. Her newest novel, with James Patterson, will be released on March 7, 2017: Juror #3.

“Struggling young attorney Ruby Bozarth has landed the murder case of a lifetime. Her gut says he’s innocent, but only a jury can decide. And this jury has a secret…”

Juror #3 is part of James Patterson’s Bookshots line of thrillers, published by Hachette Book Group.

Allen also publishes legal thrillers for HarperCollins: the Ozarks Mystery Series, starring Ozarks prosecutor Elsie Arnold.

“We are very excited for Nancy Allen’s latest book release,” said Stephanie Bryant, dean of the College of Business. “Our students truly benefit from her years of legal experience and enjoy having her in the classroom.”
