Dr. Mollie Adams, an assistant professor in the School of Accountancy (SOA) at Missouri State University, is a luminary in the fields of education and taxation.
Her exceptional leadership and contributions undoubtedly merit consideration for this prestigious accolade from the Missouri Society of Certified Public Accountants (MOCPA). It recognizes exceptional women in the field of accounting.
The Women to Watch award is among the highest that can be awarded in the state of Missouri. Adams’s accomplishment not only serves her own personal brand, but also elevates the status of the accounting program at MSU.

“It’s always significant to be recognized for the hard work you’ve done, but what makes this award most meaningful to me is I feel like the award criteria emphasize the concept of leadership through service,” Adams said.
According to SOA Director Dr. Kimberly Church, the award highlights accomplishments of outstanding women in the accounting profession, allowing Dr. Adams to serve as an aspirant accountant for the many students that encounter her on campus.
