What started out as a hobby for Missouri State University junior Nathaniel Viscioni has become something much more.
He turned his passion for motorsports into a growing media business built on creativity and drive.
The spark that started it all

Growing up in Nixa, Missouri, Viscioni spent his weekends surrounded by the roar of engines and the excitement of demolition derbies. He watched his family compete from the stands, camera in hand, capturing every crash, cheer and victorious moment.
“By the time I was 16, I realized there was a real market for what I was doing,” he said. “I began posting my videos online and the audience just kept growing.”
What began as a few videos made for family soon grew into something bigger. When he started posting his footage on YouTube, the views climbed. People he had never met began reaching out, eager for him to film events they wanted to see, and when the next video would drop. He connected with promoters, using his early footage to market himself for more events.
After a short break from academics to focus on his business, Viscioni returned to college and transferred to Missouri State in the fall 2025 semester. The university’s hands-on marketing program and supportive environment drew him in.
“I’ve always loved learning and developing myself. Marketing gives me the tools to turn creativity into opportunity,” he said.
Turning passion into a profession
From humble beginnings in a hometown arena, Viscioni has built a growing enterprise that connects communities through creativity.

He runs a media and advertising business serving motorsports promoters across the Midwest. He works with them to plan coverage, film on-site, interview drivers and build advertising campaigns that capture the sport’s energy.
“It’s not just filming,” he said. “It’s storytelling and showing the heart behind every driver who gets in the ring.”
His work has taken him across the region, from county fairs to major circuits, where he captures moments of victory, teamwork and resilience. Each project pushes him to learn new skills, from lighting and editing to social media analytics.
“I mostly work with promoters who need professional videos and marketing materials. It’s rewarding to see how my work helps grow their audiences,” he said.
What keeps him motivated is not just business growth, but the sense of purpose that comes from sharing a sport he loves with others.

Fueling ambition through challenge
Running a business while being a full-time student is tough. It takes focus and persistence.
“Weekends are for filming; weekdays are for editing, attending classes and keeping up with assignments. It’s a lot, but I like being busy. I like the grind,” he said.
He has learned to see obstacles as part of the process.
“Find something you’re passionate about so it doesn’t feel like work. There will always be challenges, but when you love what you do, the long hours are worth it,” he said.
Through the College of Business courses, he discovered how professionalism and communication strengthen his creative work.
“Missouri State has helped me learn how to present myself and connect with clients. Those lessons carry into everything I do,” he said.
Filming the future
As graduation approaches, Viscioni’s determination only grows stronger. He plans to expand his company, reach new markets and keep bringing motorsports stories to life.
“After college, I want to go all in,” he said. “Whether it’s through my company or another marketing role, I’ll keep learning and creating. I always want to be building something.”
His story is one of consistency, turning curiosity into skill and skill into impact. For him, success is not about going viral or chasing perfection. It is about creating something meaningful and lasting.
Viscioni’s journey is an inspiration to take the first step, even when the path feels uncertain. Do not wait for the perfect moment – start now.
“Whatever you dream of doing, write it down, plan your first step and just go for it,” he said. “You never know where it’ll lead, but you’ll never find out if you don’t start.”
