The summer is winding down, folks… Today starts the final 2-day SOAR of 2011, and the camps and conferences season ends on August 1. Summer classes are over next week.
But, for now we still have summer visitors on campus! This week we are hosting college cheerleaders. (They probably all wish they could cheer for the Bears). The High School String Fling camp concludes today and the Middle School String Fling arrives, so thankfully no break in the beautiful music. Tomorrow, our last camp of the summer, Dance II, arrives, bringing in about 200 high school performers to Hammons Student Center.
Friday the 29th, we welcome a group of parents and future Bears for Summer Visit Day. Coordinated by Admissions, Summer Visit Day is a chance for potential students and their parents to see the campus along with others. Unlike an individual visit, this event also provides a more formal presentation about admissions and financial aid, and offers students an organized chance to meet with several faculty members.
We hope you’ve enjoyed reading Who’s on Campus this summer!
