It’s Opening Weekend at Missouri State University, and that means a giant list of things to do.  Of course there is some work to be done: move in, unpack, pick up your books, etc. but before classes begin on Monday there is also a long list of fun and entertainment with lots of opportunities to meet new people.

Today’s list includes the Parent & Family information sessions at 3PM and 4PM in the PSU Theater – make sure you send your parents to one of those.  They will find out how to get some great discounts on some fun of their own.   Tonight the fun of Opening Weekend kicks off after dinner with PlayFair for students along with special opportunities for parents and families in downtown Springfield.  After PlayFair, head over to the North Mall (in front of the Union) for Inflatables and refreshments followed by an outdoor movie on a giant inflatable screen.  This year’s movie is X-Men First Class.
