Missouri State is celebrating a new era and we’re taking a moment to look back at the eras which make up our history. Did you know 2025 marks the university’s 120th birthday?
Founded in 1905 as the Fourth District Normal School, we’ve had many names – and many eras – throughout the years, but being a Bear never goes out of style.
Are you ready for it?
Slip on your friendship bracelets because we’re gonna make the whole place shimmer as we celebrate university staff at the annual Staff Service Awards Luncheon on Jan. 8, 2025, in Hammons Student Center.
Lights, camera, smile
- Doors open for seating at 11 a.m., lunch will begin at 11:30 a.m. and the program kicks off at noon.
