The immune system is a complex network that helps protect the body from illness and supports healing. This session will break down how it functions and share simple, realistic strategies to support immune health and overall well-being.
Topics include:
- How the immune and lymphatic systems function
- Ways to support immune health and manage inflammation
- The connection between nutrition, sleep, exercise, and stress
- Everyday habits that support long-term wellness

Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Support
Mercy EAP is available to full-time and part-time employees and members of their household. Each individual is eligible for up to 6 free counseling sessions per issue/concern.

- Virtual Nutrition Counseling
Sessions offer approachable, practical guidance on healthy eating, including balanced meals, fueling energy throughout the day, portion awareness, and building sustainable nutrition habits that support everyday food choices in realistic, manageable ways.- Summer 2026 nutrition appointments are available virtually for any Mo State employee, dependent, or student age 18 and older on Thursday, July 9. Each session is a 30-minute Zoom appointment with a dietetic intern.
- Wellness and Weight Watchers Collaboration Program
This program provides a structured, flexible approach to weight management with an emphasis on long-term behavior change, balanced eating patterns, and ongoing support. It is designed to help employees build sustainable habits at their own pace with accountability and encouragement. - Campus Recreation
Campus Recreation offers a variety of opportunities to stay active, including fitness facilities, group exercise classes, and recreational programming. These options make it easier to incorporate movement into daily routines, supporting both physical health and overall well-being.
