Last week I had the incredible opportunity to volunteer with a Bear Breaks trip to Aurora, Colorado. On this trip, we volunteered at Children’s Hospital Colorado. Our last day serving at the Children’s hospital was so rewarding. My group took arts and crafts to the 4 outpatient clinic floors (emphasis in cardiac, neuropsychology, kidney, etc.). We made hippos and turkeys and the kids all did so well. Eventually we split up and took different floors. As soon as that happened it felt like it was nonstop until noon.
