Marketing Department Associate Professor Dr. Wes Friske published six articles last year and became Editor of the Journal of Research in Marketing and Entrepreneurship

In 2024, Dr. Friske published six peer-reviewed articles in academic journals. According to the latest Australian Business Deans Council Journal Quality List rankings, one article appears in an ‘A*’ journal, four appear in ‘A’ journals, and one appears in a ‘C’ journal. Dr. Friske’s recent work focuses on two distinct topics: (a) innovation strategies (e.g., customer participation, coopetition) and (b) macro marketing issues (e.g., public trust in marketing systems, ESG reporting).

Listed below, in order of ranking, are the six articles that were published.

In addition, Dr. Friske became editor of the Journal of Research in Marketing and Entrepreneurship (JRME) in September 2024. For 25 years, JRME has been an important outlet for scholarly research at the marketing-entrepreneurship interface. JRME has a 7% acceptance rate and has garnered an international reputation for quality scholarship, earning high rankings from both the Australian Business Deans Council (ABDC) and the Chartered Association of Business Schools (CABS).
