For its third season, Missouri State University’s “Brown Bag Concert Series” continues to enliven April lunchtime with its lineup of talented performers.

Held once again at the John Goodman Amphitheatre (JGA), the event is free and open to the public. The amphitheater is located immediately north of Craig Hall in the Judith Enyeart Reynolds Arts Park.

All performances start at noon. Public parking will be available starting at 11 a.m. across Grand Street in Parking Lots 22 and 24.

“Bring your lunch, relax and enjoy some great music,” said Mark Templeton, executive director of marketing and external relations for JGA.

Sponsored by the Reynolds College of Arts, Social Sciences and Humanities, with media support provided by KSMU, the concert series features artists from throughout the Ozarks.

April 1 — Cody Randall

Cody Randall started performing when he was 19 years old. He has performed in over 30 states, playing bass and operating as musical director for many up and coming Nashville artists, some of whom have appeared on shows like The Voice. His debut single, “Cold Soul,” is coming soon to all streaming platforms.  🗓️ Mark your calendar.

April 8 — IMH

As a rising indie rock band from West Plains, Missouri, IMH blends raw emotion with stadium-ready energy. Inspired by Arctic Monkeys, The Geese and Malcom Todd, IMH delivers high-intensity performances backed by storytelling lyrics. The group’s live shows bring a punch — high-energy guitars, melodic hooks and crowd-driven moments.  🗓️ Mark your calendar.

April 15 — Molly Healey

As a longtime fiddle player for the Ozark Mountain Daredevils who morphed into a powerhouse experimental songwriter, Molly Healey began her solo career in 2015 after buying a simple looping pedal. She immediately found a passion for blending her strings and voice together into atmospheric and experimental orchestral folk songs. Her first compositions were featured on her debut solo album, Nightbirds.  🗓️ Mark your calendar.

April 22 — The Shandies

The Shandies deliver intimate, harmony-rich performances shaped by nearly a decade of performing together. Their crisp acoustic guitar textures, story-driven songwriting, and fun spousal banter leave new audiences feeling like they’ve known them for years.  🗓️ Mark your calendar.
