When Campus Safety Specialist Kim Strope arrived at work on April 17, 2024, she did not expect she would be a pet detective. However, while Grounds Keeper Amy Grace was busy taking care of our campus, she noticed a lost dog and brought it to Campus Safety.
Kim, a dog lover by nature, knew it would be important to get the lovable friend back home, so she made a post on Leigh’s Lost and Found Facebook page. Within an hour, “Masters” was happily reunited with his owner, who was very appreciative of the efforts by Amy and Kim.
Todd Revell, Associate Director of University Safety, said, “I am proud of our staff at MSU. This is another example of Campus Safety and Facilities Management working together and staff going above and beyond their regular duties to make someone’s day better.”
Great work Amy and Kim!
