As humans, we engage in conversations that serve many purposes. While dealing with difficult conversations can be challenging and cause anxiety, avoiding them can also affect relationships negatively.

Dr. Erin Wehrman, associate professor of communication at Missouri State University, shares with Vox what people should do to navigate difficult conversations successfully.
