Outstanding Young Alumna Award: Tingting Qin

Outstanding Alumnus Award: Senator David D. Sater

David Sater always loved science and people. As a Bear, he played basketball, golf and won the intramural table tennis championship three years in a row. Award for Excellence in Public Affairs: Dottie M. Lofstrom

Dottie M. Lofstrom discovered geology while a student at Missouri State. It was a field that allowed her to fulfill her two primary passions: caring for the Earth and travel. Award of Appreciation: Jerry Hoover

Jerry Hoover arrived at Missouri State University in 1985. He served as the director of bands for 31 years until he retired in 2016. He directly oversaw the expansion of the band program as it grew into the respected program it is now.
