The research of Dr. Gary Michelfelder has been selected for the 2022 issue of Mind’s Eye. Spending the last 15 years studying the Rio Grande Rift and the Andes Mountains in Chile, his research aims to answer how and why volcanoes erupt in hopes to improve forecasting.
