If your daycare is closed or your child is no longer attending daycare, this is considered a change of provider and a change in your cost of care and is therefore a qualifying event that would allow you to change your dependent care election. The election can be reduced or stopped. Complete the regular MOCafe change form https://webdocs.asiflex.com/Mocafe/mo_change_form.pdf

The change will be considered in effect for the remainder of the year. However, if there is another qualifying event (the child begins daycare again and their cost goes up), then you can make another change at that time to resume/increase dependent care.
