My Learning Connection is your hub for new hire compliance training, continuing professional development courses, and in-depth learning paths, like MSU LEAD, offered by the Organizational & Talent Development team at MSU. Have you registered for one of our in-house courses yet? We’ve built out this how-to to help you get started.
How to Access My Learning Connection:
- Use your browser to navigate to my.missouristate.edu.
- Type in your login and password in the appropriate fields, then click Login. You will be directed to your My Missouri State homepage.
- In the navigation bar, click Profile. You’ll be directed to your Profile page.
- Under the Professional Development section, click My Learning Connection. You will be redirected to the My Learning Connection page.
From here, you can access free, featured training offered by the OTD team and any other trainings that are offered across campus by clicking on a featured course or searching for the course in our search bar.
How to Register for a Course:
- From the My Learning Connection homepage, click on one of the featured courses OR use the search bar to type in the name of the course you’re interested in taking. Once the course you want appears, click on the course title. You’ll be directed to the course Event page.
- Under Upcoming Sessions, click View Details. A Session Details side bar will appear. If there are seats available, you will be able to register for the class. If it’s unavailable, you will be able to notify yourself when a new session is available.
- Under Parts/Schedule, click Request. This will successfully register you for the course. You will be sent a Registration Confirmation email, and you will notice that your Request button has changed to a View Training Details button.
How to Add Class Information to Your Calendar from Your Registration Confirmation Email:
- In Outlook, open your Registration Confirmation email.
- Double click the calendar invite attached to the email. An Add this Internet Calendar to Outlook pop up will appear.
- Click Yes.
How to Add Class Information to Your Calendar from the Session Details Side Bar:
- After you register for a course, navigate to the Session Details side bar for that course and click View Training Details. You will be redirected to the Training Details
- In the bottom of the Training Details box, click Add to Calendar. Your meeting invite will automatically download.
- Click the automatic download to open the invite. Click Accept to add it to your calendar.
