What to expect at Staff Awards

Did you meet a milestone in 2021?

May 18, 2022 by Nicki Donnelson

We haven’t gathered together for a traditional Staff Awards Luncheon since January 2020, so let’s remind you of what to expect.

  • It’s set for 11:30 a.m. June 14 in Hammons Student Center.
  • Doors open at 11 a.m. Please don’t arrive early as extra foot traffic makes setup more difficult for catering staff.
  • We’ll honor anyone who met a 5-year milestone with the university in 2021.
  • At the ceremony, you’ll receive your certificate.
  • You should have received an email with a gift card option as a token of the university’s thanks!

If you have questions or concerns, please contact EmployeeAppreciation@MissouriState.edu.

But it doesn’t stop there

Remember, we’re Roarin’ Back this year. Expect to have fun and encourage your coworkers to participate in the events held June 13-17.

  • Staff Appreciation in Mother’s Backyard from 5-8 p.m. June 13. Bring your family!
  • #MSUStaffShoutout on social media June 15.
  • A giant staff photo – the biggest since the Centennial – at 4:30 p.m. June 16 on the east side of Carrington.
  • Outdoor games and fun on June 17.

More than anything, make sure you say thanks to your fellow MSU Staff!
