Identity Protection Plan

November 3, 2022 by Deidre Mings

New identity protection insurance offered during open enrollment for 2023

Identity theft impacts an estimated 10 million consumers a year. In 2020, identity theft victims experienced nearly $13.3 billion in total fraud losses. MSU is excited to offer a new voluntary benefit for 2023. We are pleased to announce Allstate will be offering Identity Protection select plan, which has innovative tools to protect against the financial impact of identity theft.

  • Monitor Financial accounts for Fraud
  • Get real time alerts if data is compromised
  • 24/7 full-service remediation and support
  • Additional coverages
  • Option to coverage employee only or employee and family

Action must be taken by you if you would like to enroll in or change benefit elections during Open Enrollment (November 1st through December 1st, 2022). Policy enrollments/changes will be effective January 1, 2023. View more information at the Virtual Benefits fair.
