For Summer, Fall and Academic Year Onboarding!
Ensure that your new hires, rehires, and continued appointments have the necessary system accesses for their appointed semesters AND that they are entered for timely payroll processing.
Beat These Deadlines by Adding Reminders to Your Calendar:

Friday, March 21st
– Submit Summer Per Course, Staff and Faculty Summer Personnel Action Forms (PAFs).

Tuesday, April 1st
– Submit Fall Promotion, Reappointment, and Tenure Personnel Action Forms (PAFs).

Wednesday, April 30th
– Submit new Summer Graduate Assistant appointments and reappointments of Fall and Academic Year (AY) Graduate Assistants.

No Later Than Tuesday, July 15th
– Submit new Fall and Academic Year Graduate Assistant and Per Course appointments.

Check List Items (per Employee Handbook):
- All newly hired employees must complete I-9, W-4 and direct deposit forms in the hiring department no later than the first day of employment. The hiring department must make sure that the E-Verify process is completed within three days of the start date.
- The following forms are required to be completed and submitted to Office of Human Resources for each newly hired employee:
- Reference checks
- Personnel Action Form
- I-9 (no later than the first day of employment)
- E-Verification (within three days of the first day of employment)
- W-4 (deliver to payroll office Room 119)
- Direct Deposit (completed through the Employee Dashboard on My Missouri State)
