Supporting Employee Well-Being
It’s been nearly 80 years since employee benefits programs were first introduced to the workplace. In 1935, the Federal Insurance Contributions Act was established to secure Social Security and medical care for employees. Then, in 1942, fringe benefits began to take shape.
Today, top benefits include:
- Health, Life, Disability Insurance Benefits
- Retirement
- Wellness Programs
- Tuition Assistance (fee waiver)
National Employee Benefits Day, observed on April 2, 2025, carries the theme “Future-Ready Financial Well-Being.” This theme emphasizes the importance of helping employees plan for their financial future. At MSU, we’re committed to supporting this vision with a wide range of benefits that promote both financial and personal well-being.
