The MSU Foundation Donor Relations study was conducted by Dr. Josh Coleman and the following student candidates: Garrett Greenfield and Zack Faulkner. The purpose of the survey was to provide insights about Missouri State Foundation donors and their: Perceptions of the Foundation and its conduct, Motivations for donating to the Foundation​, and Recommendations for the Foundation.

About The Missouri State Foundation: The Missouri State Foundation was founded in 1981 in order to fulfill Missouri State University’s mission as a comprehensive university in the center of a unique metropolitan region.​

About the MSU Foundation Donor Relations study: 26 respondents, or 37% of the Board of Trustees, participated in the survey, which concluded that the MSU Foundation should continue…

• Hosting events for donors and alumni​​
•  Providing donors and alumni with consistent MSU updates​
•  Promoting loyalty and school spirit among students and graduates​
•  Hosting regular trustee committee meetings

Additionally suggesting that the MSU Foundation should start…​

• Encouraging diversity among members of the MSU Foundation Board of Trustees​
•  Inviting younger alumni to join the Foundation Board of Trustees​
•  Asking questions of donors
• Providing donors with ways to reconnect with the MSU campus​​
