Kayla has always had a passion for teaching.
She’s been influenced by many educators and wants to give back to her students, who are her favorite part of her career field.
“It’s a blessing each day getting to be impacted by your students! I love their curiosity and love for learning!”
Kayla has the same passion for teaching she identified in her teachers at MSU Outreach in West Plains. When asked about an instructor or learning experience that was significant, she couldn’t identify just one, saying:
“All of my professors were great! They have a passion of teaching that shines! Each professor provided knowledgeable information that helped students strive to be successful educators, but overall they cared about each student in their classroom.”
Graduating debt free
Earning her bachelor’s degree in West Plains made great financial sense to Kayla. As an alumna of MSU-West Plains she was able to transfer her credits, from her associate degree, and earn her bachelor’s degree in West Plains. This allowed her to graduate debt free.
Kayla recently graduated and said, “It’s reassuring to know all of my hard work and effort has paid off to be debt free.”
