Earlier today, the Department of Homeland Security(DHS)/Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) released a new video titled “Violence Prevention through De-escalation“. It is a 13-minute video that provides good pointers for individuals who may encounter situations where someone becomes aggressive. I encourage you to check it out. If you have specific questions on handling these situations on campus, feel free to contact Campus Safety at 417-836-5509.
CISA also provides a wide range of preparedness and prevention training and webinars that may be of interest.
