Phi Sigma Pi – Spotlight

Phi Sigma PiPhi Sigma Pi is part honor society, part service organization, and part social fraternity. Phi Sigma Pi seeks to incorporate the best and most beneficial aspects of all these types of organizations into its own program. The honor society aspect sets Phi Sigma Pi apart and commands respect. The social fraternity aspect builds fellowship and commitment, which in turn serves as a stimulus to undertake service projects… the greatest expression of leadership.

Phi Sigma Pi meets on Thursday’s in Strong Hall room 003 @ 7 PM.

Fiji – Spotlight

Phi Gamma Delta (FIJI) is a social men’s fraternity brought to the Missouri State campus in 2007. Guided by their values of friendship, knowledge, service, morality, and excellence, they had grown and officially chartered at Missouri State on February 28, 2009 as the Psi Mu Chapter of Phi Gamma Delta.

FIJI is dedicated to helping the community and Missouri State campus in a variety of ways. They host the Black Diamond Golf Tournament each spring with proceeds benefiting the American Red Cross. They have also organized the FIJI Run, partnering with University of Arkansas chapter. Each chapter runs from their University to the Arkansas/Missouri border and last year alone they raised over $13,000 for the American Red Cross.

Up ‘Til Dawn – Spotlight

Up Til Dawn LogoUp ‘Til Dawn is a student-led, student-run program hosted by colleges and universities nation-wide. Up ‘Til Dawn unites faculty, staff, students, the surrounding community and sponsors in a goal to help the kids of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Currently, over 80 college campuses participate in this program.

The mission for Missouri State University’s chapter of Up ‘Til Dawn is a campus-wide philanthropy program to raise funds for and awareness of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Through the duration of their first year as an organization on the Missouri State University Campus, they became the 3rd top team in the nation for rasing the most money at $108,000.

Thanks to all for your help with letter writing and taking the time out of your day to donate, or making the fun trips to Panera on Panera Night. You have touched the children and parents at St. Jude. All together we have raised over $80,001 this year alone!!! This is exciting, and we thank you all again for your support.
