Ashley Hoyer, a senior studying English literature, has been appointed as the student member of the Board of Governors for Missouri State University. She will complete the remainder of the term of Ryan Childress who stepped down to due graduation. The term expires December 31^st. Hoyer, who has worked for the Student Government Association for multiple years, will remain the Student Governor until Governor Jay Nixon appoints a student for the next 2-year term.
