Congratulations to the Theta Pi Chapter of Beta Alpha Psi at Missouri State University. In early April, Dr. Carl Keller and Dr. George Schmelzle traveled with students to the Kansas City “Best Practices” competition at the Missouri Valley Regional meeting. Three different teams competed in three different categories, and all three teams did an outstanding job in representing the Chapter and Missouri State University. Two of the teams placed in the competition.
Cassandra Kinder, Mina Kajtezovic, and Tingting Liu captured second place for their presentation on “Emotional Intelligence” in the “Innovation” category. In the “Imagination” category, Ashley Bishop, Josh Smith, Jessica Lewis, and Trevor Godfrey took home third place for their presentation on using a game to improve communication skills.
All of these very talented students worked very hard under the skillful leadership of Jonathan Carter and Kyle Goewert. Please join me in congratulating these outstanding students!
