Two Finance and General Business associate professors, Stan Adamson and Stephen Haggard co-authored a new publication with David Eckles from the University of Georgia. Their article, “Insurer Opacity and Ownership Structure,” was published in the Journal of Insurance Issues, Vol. 37, No. 2, pp. 93-134, Fall 2014.
Nancy Allen, senior instructor in the Finance and General Business Department, was the recent keynote speaker for the MSU Talks event that was a part of Public Affairs Week 2014. Dana Haggard, associate professor in the Management Department, has been notified that a recent paper titled, “On the Exchange of Hostility with Supervisors: An Examination of Self-Enhancing and Self-Defeating Perspectives,” that she co-authored with: Ben Tepper and Heeman Park, Ohio State University; Marie Mitchel, University of Georgia; and Ho Kwong Kwan, Shanghai University of Finance & Economics, has been accepted for publication in the journal of Personnel Psychology.
Shannon McMurtrey, senior instructor in the Computer Information Systems Department, recently earned Certified Incident Handler (GCIH) certification from Global Information Assurance Certification. Certification is earned by a select group of professionals who have demonstrated expertise in the field of information security.
