The IRS issued Announcement 2022-13 to increase the standard mileage rate for the use of an automobile to seek health care. Participants can submit claims for mileage reimbursement via the ASIFlex Mobile App or online. No documentation is required!

Mileage rates apply to the health care FSA reimbursements. No documentation is needed – mileage is self-reported. Participants must list the provider or store name, travel dates, and total number of miles on the claim form, whether paper claim or electronic claim. Then the participant may claim an amount based on the number of (round trip) miles at the mileage rates indicated below:
