MSU Resources:
- Employee wellness will offer a Self-Defense Tactics class April 23rd from 3:30pm- 5:00pm. Class is free but registration is required.
- University safety is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, with services such as safe walk and blue light telephones. Save University Safety’s number in your phone for fast access, 417-836-5509.
- Crisis support is offered through our Mercy (EAP), available at no charge to University both full and part-time employees, 800-413-8008 # 2.
- Mental Health counseling is a covered service under the medical plans, visit the Mercy provider directory to find a participating provider or visit Magers Health and wellness center, 417-836-4000.
- Full and Part-Time Employees who themselves have been the victim of domestic or sexual violence, or who have a family or household member who has been the victim of domestic or sexual violence, are provided with unpaid leave in accordance with the requirements of Mo. Rev. Stat. § 285.630. See policy 7.21 for further information.
