Healthy Vision Month is celebrated every May to stress the importance of the health of our eyes.
Healthy Vision month was established by the National Eye Institute in 2003 and aims to spread awareness and educate people about the risks of ignoring the health of their eyes. Eye health is more than just loss of vision and a WellVision® Exam with a VSP network doctor can help with the early detection of 273 conditions.
MSU offers two (2) vision plan options with VSP, a base plan and a premium plan. Both plans offer a $10-copay, yearly well-vision exam. Check out the plan highlights. Both plans offer members exclusive discounts and access to VSP member resources:
- VSP.Com Brochure
- Essential Medical Eye Care
- VSP member Extra’s
- TruHearing hearing aid discount
- VSP Heart Health eyes.
Corrective Vision Surgery:
The VSP plan offers discounts on Lasik eye correction surgery and provides resources to help you explore eye surgery options.
