You can see your normal retirement eligibility date when you log in to myMOSERS. Click on Estimates then Estimate Your Retirement Date.
It is important to note that your normal retirement date shown in myMOSERS is based on the assumption that you continue your employment in a MOSERS benefit-eligible position through your date of retirement.
If you would like more information, contact MOSERS to schedule an in-person or virtual appointment with a MOSERS benefit counselor.
When is your termination date?
Your last day of work as a MOSERS benefit-eligible employee (termination date), as reported by your employer, must be at least one day prior to your actual retirement date with MOSERS. Your retirement date with MOSERS must be on the first day of the month. You will receive your first benefit payment on the last working day of the same month that you retire.
For Example:
If your retirement date will be November 1, your termination date must be no later than October 31. You will receive your first benefit payment on November 30.
