This last summer, the Board of Governors approved a one-time retention payment for all Missouri State University employees holding a full-time position as of July 1, 2023, and still employed in a full-time position with MSU as of December 1, 2023. This $1,500 one-time payment will be included with the end-of-December paycheck.

On Friday, December 1, 2023, a “December Payment Notification” email was sent to full-time employees who were shown as meeting the above eligibility criteria. If you feel you are eligible and did not receive an email, please type “December Payment Notification” in your email search field to confirm it did not go to a junk/spam email folder.

If you still do not find an email but have been in a full-time position since July 1, 2023, please contact HRRecords@MissouriState.edu and we will investigate and get back to you as quickly as possible.
