Employees who have questions about their MOSERS retirement can certainly ask those questions over the phone or by email. However, if preferred, you may schedule an appointment in the MOSERS office (907 Wildwood Dr Jefferson City, MO 65109). There are several advantages to scheduling the appointment in advance rather than just stopping by. Counselors are available to assist members from 8:00 a.m. until noon and from 1:00 p.m. until 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. The MOSERS office is open during the noon hour for members who would like to drop off forms, however, they also have a drop box outside of their office available 24/7.
MOSERS benefit counselors can:
- Print off benefit estimates during an appointment.
- Discuss retirement options.
- Demonstrate how to retire online.
- And so much more!
Employees are encouraged to schedule an appointment with MOSERS, in advance and to look at MOSERS tips for in-person visits.
If employees would rather meet virtually instead of in-person, they can just let MOSERS know when contacting them to schedule an appointment. MOSERS will set up the virtual visit through Microsoft Teams, making it easy to connect one-on-one with a benefit counselor.

The Office of Human Resources is available to assist you as you retire. Employees are encouraged to contact the Office of Human Resources 90 days prior to their anticipated retirement date to schedule an appointment to be briefed about retirement processes. During the appointment, a representative from Human Resources will explain the steps to retire and discuss what happens with each of your benefits.
