Magers Winter Break Hours

Magers, the Medical Home for Missouri State University, will be open Friday, December 27 and Monday, December 30, during the winter break.  Employees and their families can access medical evaluation and care for acute needs, refill prescriptions, and obtain x-ray services if necessary.

Magers Hours:

• Open: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Closed for Lunch: 12:00 PM – 1:00 PM)
• Dates: Friday, December 27 and Monday, December 30

Medical Care While Magers is Closed

• Mercy Urgent Care
  Offers extended hours and immediate appointments for non-life-threatening health issues. Walk in without an appointment for prompt care.
  • Mercy-GoHealth Urgent Care
    Offers video visits and allows you to save your spot online for added convenience.
• Emergency Room
  For life-threatening emergencies, visit the Emergency Department or call 911.
• Travel/Out-of-Area Coverage
  Employees covered under the University’s medical insurance can access out-of-network providers through the wrap networks listed on the back of their insurance card. If you lose your card, sign in to your Med-pay account to request a new one or download a temporary card.
  • Employees with a Mercy primary provider can also use MyMercy’s “Share Everywhere” feature to temporarily share medical files with out-of-town providers.

    • Sign in to MyMercy:
    • Open the menu and select “Share Everywhere”.
  • Employees with Mercy Primary Care Physician (PCP), contact the primary care physician office or utilize:
    • Mercy Express Care (Mercy PCP Required)
      Available 24/7 via computer, tablet, or mobile device. No appointment needed for initial online evaluation. Access through the MyMercy app or Mercy.net.
    • Mercy On-Call (Mercy PCP Required)
      Employees with a Mercy primary care provider can contact their office after hours for on-demand care. Mercy providers will answer questions and connect you to appropriate care options.
