Marketing and Communication Intern
The Victim Center (TVC) is a not-for-profit in Springfield, MO, that provides free of charge services to victims of violent and sexual crimes.

Marketing and Communication Intern
This is an unpaid internship.
Description:
The Victim Center seeks a dynamic, self-starter to assist marketing and communication efforts. This internship is an excellent opportunity to experience various aspects of marketing while working for a well-established community based nonprofit organization.
Assist the Director of Development and Marketing with the following:
Update TVC’s social media presence
Design and create marketing material for TVC’s volunteer recruitment efforts
Update TVC’s Prevention Education program material
Design flyers, graphics, and other marketing material for major events hosted by TVC
Assist in planning, writing and managing eNewsletter
Draft and distribute news releases, media alerts, and other stories.
Qualifications:
Enthusiasm for the mission of The Victim Center and the individuals we serve
Working towards a college degree, in a related field (e.g. English, Marketing/Communications, or Public Relations)
Proficiency in Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, etc. is required
An effective communicator, both written and oral
Self-motivated, good organizational skills, detail-orientated, ability to prioritize, and meet deadlines.
Hours:
This is an unpaid internship with flexible hours, which will be determined between TVC’s Director of Development and Marketing and selected candidate.
