Today we visited another site of the Plain of Jars. We also visited the information center to get all the history behind the Plain of Jars. Today was the day we departed from Xiangkhouang. We started the next morning by visiting site 1 of the Plain of Jars. While we got to see a lot more jars, there were also a lot of other interesting sites of the area. The hills were covered in craters from detonated bombs long ago. There was also a cave in the area we visited. The morning after arriving to Xiangkhouang, we set out to visit the Plain of Jars. Similar to the Easter Island Heads, nobody is quite sure how how the jars were built, and how the rock used to build them were transported to Laos. We went to site 2 and 3.
