What's Happening in the Biomedical Sciences Department

Welcoming New Bears

May 3, 2018 by Natalie Allen

For the past several years the Biomedical Sciences Department, has conducted tours for high school students.  The high schoolers learn about our anatomy lab, food science lab, dietetics and CMB programs and are introduced to a basic experiment using DNA.  These tours are a hit and we enjoy meeting people from all around the Springfield area.  Plus, it’s a great opportunity for our MSU students to present and showcase what they are learning.  As graduation nears, we look forward to “bringing in new bears” to the BMS department.
