Budding fashionistas have the chance to get a peek into the world of the Department of Fashion and Interior Design.

The department’s first Spring Preview Workshop for high school students kicks off at 8 a.m. April 19 and will feature hands-on activities in each of the three majors offered in the FID department: Fashion Merchandising and Design, Interior Design and Family and Consumer Sciences. Students also will have a chance to lunch in a university dining hall, tour the campus and hear a panel of graduates talk about their post-university careers as well as internship and career options. The day will conclude at 3:30 p.m.

The cost is $15, which includes activities, lunch and a Preview Day T-shirt.
