Peace Corps Celebrates 60th Anniversary

Bear Pantry distributed 5900 lbs of goods in Fall 2020

The Bear Pantry serves as a resource for Missouri State students, staff, and faculty who may face food insecurity.  In the Fall 2020 semester, more than 5,900 lbs of food and hygiene items were distributed, marking an unprecedented semester. Bear Pantry uses hydroponics to provide fresh food

Darr College of Agriculture graduate students, Scott Cooley and Korey Harper, developed a hydroponics system and germination system for the Bear Pantry in Fall 2020.  In addition to designing the systems, these students trained the Bear Pantry staff on maintenance and food production.
