Position Overview: The efactory Entrepreneurship Intern Pilot Program connects talented Missouri State University students with efactory incubator members. As part of this program, MSU students will work with efactory incubator member companies on meaningful, semester-long projects that address real business needs. These internships are structured to help students develop entrepreneurial skills in an authentic setting, enhancing their understanding and practical application of business concepts.
- Get hands-on experience with established entrepreneurs.
- Contribute to real-world projects and develop critical business skills.
- Connect with a network of local professionals.
- Participate in Great Game of Business MiniGames with a cohort of fellow MSU student interns.
Required Qualifications and Duties and Responsibilities
- Be enrolled in at least six credit hours as a Missouri State University undergraduate or graduate student.
- Have a cumulative GPA of 2.5.
- Be able to work 12-15 hours a week for 12 weeks: Feb. 1 – May 8.
- Attend a program orientation meeting on Jan. 22.
- Attend monthly program meetings with the cohort/participate in professional development activities.
- Share program reflections and feedback at monthly meetings.
- Engage in Great Game of Business Cohort exercises and end of semester mini-game pitch.
