Missouri State University’s Campus Judicial Board (CJB) acts as the Judicial Branch of the Student Government Association and is looking for Associate Justices. Student Government Association is currently seeking applicants to fill a remaining seat on the Board.
The CJB is the highest Judicial Board on campus and was established in order to provide students with a representative voice in the regulation of their actions and to encourage student participation in an understanding of the administration of fairness.
All student organizations and all students enrolled at Missouri State University are subject to the jurisdiction of the board. The CJB serves to interpret the Constitution, Bylaws, and the Manuals of Commissions of the SGA. The CJB also serves as the appellate body for student organizations and individuals appealing decisions for subordinate student hearing boards.
Applications are available on the SGA website, at: http://sga.missouristate.edu/documents/, by clicking on “Forms” and “Campus Judicial Board Application” or in the SGA Office, PSU 123.
