Emily Bernet is a freshman at Missouri State University. She is majoring in Global Studies and minoring in Spanish. She joined SGA in the fall of her freshman year and serves on the Academic Affairs Committee. In SGA, Emily has worked on plus/minus standardization, increased academic awareness, and general education changes. Jacob Swett is in his third year at Missouri State. He is majoring in Physics, Applied Mathematics, and German with minors in Astronomy, Computer Science, and Environmental Physics Technology. Jacob serves on the Academic Affairs Committee where he has worked on several projects focusing on increased academic information. In addition to serving in Senate, Jacob also serves on the Campus Judicial Board Nominating Committee and the Presidential Search Committee. In his spare time Jacob enjoys learning languages, reading, and getting to know people.
