Since 1977, thousands of students have expanded their minds, developed their hearts and extended their horizons by being a part of Christian Campus House, which is a non-denominational community of students seeking to know and follow God. Each Tuesday evening, CCH hosts a large-group gathering called ?8:01″ in the Plaster Student Union (from August until May–during summers it takes place at our facility), which features upbeat music, relevant teaching and lots of humor.
But CCH also offers small group Bible studies, intramural teams, social activities, and many services for international students. Many people believe and even say good things but seldom put them into action; to counter that human tendency, we offer opportunities each week to feed homeless people, spend time with elderly friends, and help international students learn English. CCH offers opportunities to travel to inner-city St. Louis to work with kids in the ?hood; to continue helping the people of New Orleans recover from Hurricane Katrina (over spring break 2011), and to bless children and others in Nicaragua, Haiti, Kosova and Russia (this summer).
College is all about growing up, and as students are growing intellectually, socially and emotionally during their college years, CCH wants to provide the opportunity for students to grow up spiritually as well. Come check CCH out!
