In Spring 2019 we administered the NSSE (National Survey of Student engagement). In order to incentivize participation students who completed the survey by May 15, 2019 were automatically entered in a random drawing to win 1 of 10 MSU Bookstore gift cards worth $35 awarded to first-year students, or 1 of 10 Bachelor’s Degree Graduation Cap & Gown sets worth up to $35 for senior students or reserved seating for family members at graduation. One random, large prize drawing was held. One first-year student was awarded a $300 gift card to the bookstore. One senior student was awarded a set of headphones (approximate value $300).
